  1. Good to hear you early in the new year :-)
I was thinking about the stretchy neckline issue that you describe with the Velynda cardigan. I was worried about that with my version of Stefanie Japel's Shapely Boyfrien'd cardigan - I adapted it from worsted to sport weight and improvised as I went along. The neck seemed very stretchy after blocking, but I remembered something very neat that I saw the Yarn Harlot show on her blog: crochet reinforcement on the neck. I like how it's working out and maybe it could help your cardi stay in shape?

As for set-in sleeves, I was afraid of them, and I messed up the first one a few times but the second one went quickly. Once you get the hang of them, they're quite fun and pretty.

  2. I was just coming here to post about crocheting along the neck of your Velynda, but I see it was already suggested! I did it on my Velynda, and it helped tons. Good luck!

  4. I loved your Goldilocks analogy :) Your Audrey in Unst is going to be gorgeous. That is too bad about the Velynda - I hope the crochet trick will help. It is too beautiful not to wear with 100% happiness!

    Happy New Year, Kristin!
